Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using this website or engaging DRY CARBON CLEAN to perform any services. By requesting a quote, making a booking or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About us

DRY CARBON CLEAN (ABN 31 701 696 004) is a dry ice blasting and industrial cleaning business based in South-East Queensland, servicing Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to DRY CARBON CLEAN. “You” refers to the person or entity requesting our services or using our website.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By submitting a quote request, making a booking, paying a deposit or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you are acting on behalf of a company or other entity, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you engage us applies to your engagement.

3. Our services

We provide dry ice blasting and industrial cleaning services in accordance with the scope agreed at the time of quotation. All services are performed to industry-standard WHS practices, including the preparation of a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) appropriate to the job.

We reserve the right to decline, suspend or cease any service where we consider it unsafe to continue, including where site conditions differ materially from what was disclosed at the time of quoting, where a safe work plan cannot be agreed, or where access requirements cannot be met.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes beyond what is described in our written quote. Results may vary depending on the nature of the surface, contaminant type, access conditions and other factors outside our control.

4. Quotes & pricing

All quotes are prepared based on the information you provide. A quote is an estimate only and is not a fixed price unless explicitly stated in writing as such. Where site conditions differ materially from what was disclosed, we will notify you of any variation before proceeding.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. After that period, pricing may change due to fluctuations in CO₂ supply costs, travel requirements or other factors.

Any website calculators or indicative pricing tools are for general guidance only and do not constitute a binding quote. Contact us for a formal quote specific to your situation.

5. Payment & deposits

Certain bookings require a deposit to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be stated at the time of booking. Deposits are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.

The balance of any invoice is due on completion of the job, unless separate payment terms are agreed in writing. Overdue accounts may attract interest and recovery costs to the extent permitted by law.

6. Site access & safe work obligations

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe, lawful and unobstructed access to the work area at the agreed time. This includes:

  • Providing accurate information about site hazards, restricted areas, permit-to-work requirements and any existing conditions that may affect our work.
  • Completing any required site inductions, and arranging access permits, isolation authorities or confined-space entries where applicable before our arrival.
  • Ensuring the area to be cleaned is reasonably clear of people, equipment or property not intended to be within the work zone, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Providing adequate ventilation where required by our SWMS, including mechanical ventilation for enclosed or confined spaces.
  • Ensuring your site complies with applicable Queensland Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and is free from conditions that would prevent safe work.

We will not commence or continue work if we reasonably consider the site to be unsafe. Where we are required to stop work for safety reasons attributable to your site, you may still be liable for costs incurred up to that point, including call-out and mobilisation fees.

Dry ice blasting produces a CO₂ atmosphere at the point of application. We conduct CO₂ monitoring throughout every job. You must not permit any person to enter the immediate work zone without our knowledge and agreement while work is in progress.

7. Cancellation & rescheduling

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Our standard cancellation terms are:

  • More than 48 hours before the job: Full deposit refund or transfer to a new date.
  • 24–48 hours before the job: 50% of the deposit may be retained to cover administration and scheduling costs.
  • Less than 24 hours before the job: The full deposit may be retained. Where significant mobilisation costs have been incurred, additional costs may apply.

We reserve the right to reschedule a job at short notice due to equipment failure, extreme weather, CO₂ supply disruption or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as practicable and arrange an alternative time.

8. Liability & Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including statutory guarantees as to acceptable quality and fitness for purpose.

To the extent permitted by the ACL and other applicable law, our liability to you for any claim arising from the supply of our services is limited to, at our option:

  • Re-supplying the services; or
  • Paying the cost of having the services re-supplied.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of profits or revenue, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with our services or these terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to surfaces, equipment or property. We conduct a visual assessment before commencing work and will document any pre-existing conditions. If you are concerned about a particular surface or asset, please raise it with us before work begins.

We hold appropriate public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
